ReplyDeleteThe one of the mountain in the middle of the desert (Arizonia), that looks like a spire is Mt Picachu (like the kids card game). I have many pictures from these places, unfortuneately they are film, not digital.
Yeah I was going to label all of them but honestly I don't remember the exact locations or names of most of them :)
ReplyDeleteMatt, I think you are a latent geologist. I am a geologist and I LOVE the pics of the mountains and the outcrops. Makes me want to take a ride! I did all of my geology fieldwork for my degree in New Mexico...I love it there.

Well I wouldn't consider myself a geologist per se, but I do have a love for science. Actually a lot of times when driving past rock formations, I tend to think about the layers that I can see, how they may have formed, what the mineral content is to effect the coloring, etc.
